Atlys pays well for a referral and has an unusual final step that quietly loses people their reward: you have to claim it. Nothing is credited to your account on its own.

Atlys pays ₹500 in credit for every friend you refer who completes a visa booking through your link, across the 120-plus destinations it supports. The amount is generous by the standards of this site. The mechanism has a step in it that almost nothing else does.

The reward is not credited automatically. Once the person you referred has paid for a plan, Atlys sends you an email notification containing a link, and you claim the reward through that link. If the email lands in spam, or arrives while you are travelling and gets buried, or you simply do not recognise it as important, the referral completes and you get nothing. Everything up to that point can go perfectly.

So: if you refer someone to Atlys, watch for the email. That is the single most useful sentence on this page.

The second thing to be clear about is what the reward is. It is Atlys credit, applied against visa applications on the platform. It is not cash and it is not withdrawable. That matters more here than in most programs because of how infrequently people apply for visas. ₹500 of visa credit is worth close to its face value to someone who travels several times a year and applies through Atlys each time. It is worth considerably less to someone who applies for a visa once every three years, because the credit sits unused against a need that rarely comes round.

The trigger is a completed booking, not a signup. Your friend downloading the app or creating an account earns nothing — they have to actually pay for a visa application. That makes this a referral worth timing: mention it to someone who is already planning a trip and needs a visa, rather than sharing it broadly.

A cumulative earnings cap of around ₹10,000 is reported for this program. We have not been able to confirm that figure against Atlys directly, so treat it as reported rather than established, and check the referral screen in your own account if you expect to go anywhere near it.
