BatBall11 Referral Code

BatBall11's ₹50 bonus cash was only ever usable inside paid contests. Those contests are now prohibited across India, which makes the bonus worthless even where a code still technically works.

BatBall11 was founded in 2019 in Ahmedabad and acquired by 1verse in March 2024. It sat in the crowded second tier of Indian fantasy sports, competing with 11Wickets, SportsBuzz11 and a dozen similar apps on the only lever available to them: a larger sign-up bonus. BatBall11's was ₹50 in bonus cash.

The important thing about that ₹50, before any question of legality, is that it was never money. Bonus cash in this category could not be withdrawn. It could only be spent on entry to a paid contest. Its entire value therefore depended on you going on to play for money — which is the ordinary design of these offers, and the reason the amounts could be advertised so freely.

That design is now the legal problem. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 received Presidential assent on 22 August 2025 and prohibits online money games across India, expressly declining to distinguish games of skill from games of chance. Section 5 prohibits offering one, section 6 prohibits advertising one, and section 7 prohibits facilitating the associated payments. Offences under sections 5 and 7 are cognizable and non-bailable. Section 9(2) sets the advertising penalty at up to two years' imprisonment or a fine up to ₹50 lakh, or both.

The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Rules, 2026 completed the framework. Notified on 22 April 2026 and in force from 1 May 2026, they created the Online Gaming Authority of India, which can determine whether a specific game is an online money game by examining entry fees, staking mechanism, expectation of winnings and revenue model. Smaller operators sometimes assume the enforcement attention will land on the large brands. The Authority's determination power is drafted to apply to any game, and section 6 attaches to whoever publishes the advertisement.

There is a further consideration specific to the small end of this market. When a category is prohibited, the well-capitalised operators wind down in an orderly way and honour withdrawals; the thinly capitalised ones are considerably less predictable. If you hold a balance in a smaller fantasy app, that is a reason to deal with it now, through the operator's own support channel, and to be sceptical of any third party offering to recover it for you.

Free-to-play fantasy remains entirely lawful — the Act promotes e-sports and online social games. A cricket prediction game with no stake and no cash prize is not what was banned. But a referral bonus that only becomes useful when its recipient enters a paid contest is, and we are not going to list one.
