DrinkPrime vs Livpure: ₹299 vs ₹429 a Month Compared
DrinkPrime starts at ₹299 a month and Livpure Smart at ₹429. Here's how their rental plans, deposits, lock-in terms and included servicing actually compare.
Both DrinkPrime and Livpure Smart rent you a water purifier on a monthly subscription instead of selling you one outright. The pitch is nearly identical — no machine cost, no service bills, free filter changes. The prices are not.
The short answer: DrinkPrime is cheaper to start
DrinkPrime's entry plan is ₹299 a month. Livpure Smart starts at ₹429. That is ₹130 a month, or roughly ₹1,560 a year, before you compare anything else.
Whether that settles it depends on what you need. DrinkPrime's cheapest plan is UV-only; if your water needs RO treatment, the comparison shifts to DrinkPrime's ₹349–₹399 plans, and the gap narrows to ₹30–₹80 a month.

Which one should you pick?
Pick DrinkPrime if price is the deciding factor and you want the shortest commitment. The ₹299 UV plan is the cheapest way into a rented purifier, the lock-in is three months on most plans, and you can choose purification type rather than volume.
Pick Livpure Smart if you want to try before committing, or if you would rather own the machine eventually. The 7-day refundable trial removes the risk of picking wrong, and the rent-to-own path means the monthly payments are not purely rental in the long run.
Two things to check for your own address before you decide:
- Both price by city, and both have patchy coverage outside major metros. Enter your pincode on each site — the plan you want may not be offered where you live.
- Livpure's plans are capped by litres. If your household goes through more than the plan allows, the effective cost is higher than the headline.
What about water quality?
Both are subscription models built around the same idea: you never buy filters, and servicing is the provider's problem rather than yours. The meaningful difference between plans is the purification stage — UV, RO, copper or alkaline — and which you need depends on your local water, not on the brand. If your supply is hard or high-TDS, an RO-stage plan is the relevant comparison on both sides, which puts DrinkPrime's ₹349–₹399 tier against Livpure's ₹429 entry.
