Moo Referral Code
MOO pays $20 in store credit for a friend — the bigger figure is a separate business programme with a $400 minimum
MOO is an online print company selling business cards, postcards and flyers. Its referral scheme has two tracks: a $20 gift card for referring an individual, and a prepaid card for referring a business that spends at least $400.
Genie Says
MOO's "$20-$150" is two programmes, not one range. Referring an individual pays a $20 MOO gift card — store credit, not cash — about two days after their first paid order, and gives them 25% off. The larger prepaid-card reward is the business track, requiring a MOO Business Services subscription and a $400 minimum order excluding taxes and shipping; MOO does not publish that amount, so the $150 figure is unverified. Three corrections: the programme is not global (USA, UK, EU, Canada, Australia only), the published USA cap is $600 a year on business referrals rather than the $200 our page claimed, and the friend's 25% cannot be combined with other promotions.

How to Use a Moo Referral Code
Work out which programme you are in
Referring a person is the $20 gift-card track. Referring a business that will subscribe and spend $400 or more is the prepaid-card track.
Check the country list first
The referred person must be a legal resident of the USA, UK, EU, Canada or Australia, and 18 or over.
Check what public discount is running
Your friend's 25% cannot be combined with other promotions. If a sale beats it, your link costs them money and pays you nothing.
Wait about two days after their first paid order
Then you are emailed a code to redeem the $20 gift card. It is MOO credit, not cash.
Reward Details
- Your Reward
- 25% off your first order — and it cannot be combined with any other MOO promotion, so it competes with public sale prices rather than stacking on them.
- Referrer Reward
- A $20 MOO gift card — store credit at MOO, not cash. The business track instead pays a Visa or Mastercard prepaid card whose value MOO does not publish.
- Minimum Purchase
- None stated for a friend referral. ⚠️ The business track requires an order of at least $400, excluding taxes, shipping and discounts, plus a MOO Business Services subscription.
- Validity
- Terms as published by MOO and checked for this page; MOO can change them.
- Available In
- USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Belgium, Austria, Portugal, Poland, Cyprus, New Zealand, Greece, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary
- Referral Limit
- Only one qualified referral per referred individual, and one per referred business. ⚠️ In the USA, total business-referral rewards are capped at $600 per calendar year — the "$200 a year" figure our page previously carried is not in MOO's terms.
- Payout Time
- About two days after the referred person places their first paid order, then an email with a redemption code. Not instant.
- Eligibility
- ⚠️ Not global. The referred person must be 18 or over and a legal resident of the USA, UK, EU, Canada or Australia. They must use their own device and their own MOO account; self-referral is excluded.
Why Choose Moo?
The larger figure belongs to the business track, which needs a Business Services subscription and a $400 minimum order.
Its terms say the value is the maximum stated in your email. We will not assert $150 on that basis.
Referred orders cannot use another promotion, so the real comparison is 25% off versus the current public sale.
Worth the full $20 only if you were going to spend it at MOO. Otherwise it is a discount, not income.
About Moo
Our page advertised "$20-$150". Those are not two ends of one offer — they are two different programmes with different qualifying conditions, and only one of them is within reach of an ordinary customer.
**The range in our old headline was doing a lot of work.** "$20-$150" reads like one offer that pays more if your friend spends more. It is not. **MOO runs two separate referral programmes**, and the qualifying conditions are different enough that most readers will only ever meet one of them.
**The friend referral.** You share your link; **your friend gets 25% off their first order**; once they place a **first paid order**, **you get a $20 MOO gift card.** MOO's support pages say the reward takes **two days to process** after that order, after which you are emailed a code to redeem. **Only one qualified referral can be earned per referred individual.**
**The business referral.** This is where the larger figure lives. The referred business must **subscribe to a MOO Business Services account** and place a qualifying order of **at least $400, excluding taxes, shipping and discounts.** The reward is paid on a **Visa or Mastercard prepaid card** rather than as store credit. ⚠️ **MOO's published terms do not name the amount** — they say the value is the maximum stated in the email you were sent. **So the "$150" in our old title is not a figure MOO publishes**, and we are not going to assert it.
**⚠️ Three things our page previously got wrong, which are worth correcting explicitly.**
**First, the "$200 per year" cap we quoted does not appear in MOO's terms.** What the terms do state is a different cap: **total rewards for qualified business referrals in the USA are capped at $600 in one calendar year.** That is a bigger number attached to the harder programme, not a smaller one attached to the easy one.
**Second, we said the programme is "valid globally".** ⚠️ **It is not.** The terms require the referred person to be a **legal resident of the United States, the United Kingdom, the EU, Canada or Australia**, and to be 18 or over. That is a substantial part of the world, but it is a list, not "everywhere".
**Third, we labelled the rewards "instant".** They are not — the friend referral processes **two days** after the qualifying order.
**Now the arithmetic, which is the part that decides whether this is worth your time.**
**A $20 MOO gift card is store credit at MOO.** It is worth $20 only if you were going to spend $20 at MOO anyway; otherwise it is a $20 discount on a purchase you would not otherwise have made, which is worth whatever the purchase is worth to you. **This is a real distinction and it runs the other way from most cashback offers on this site**, where the payout is cash. Judge it as a discount, not as income.
**On your friend's side, the 25% is not additive.** MOO's terms require that the referred order **not use any other promotion**, and that the friend use **their own device and their own MOO account** — otherwise it can be treated as a self-referral and fail. ⚠️ **So the honest comparison is not "25% off versus full price". It is "25% off versus whatever public discount MOO is running that week."** If a seasonal sale beats 25%, your friend is better off ignoring your link — and you get nothing. **That is the trade-off, and no referral page that quotes only the 25% is telling you about it.**
**Who this actually suits.** Someone who prints regularly enough that $20 of MOO credit will certainly be spent, referring someone who was going to order anyway and who is not sitting on a better public code. **For a one-off referrer with no ongoing print needs, $20 of credit at a single printer is a weaker reward than the number suggests.**
