Gift for you, Z-Coins for your referrer

Zepto Referral Code

Q: Why can't I see the referral option in Zepto?

Zepto shows the referral entry point selectively rather than to every account. If it is not there, your account has not been given it, and no code from a listing site will unlock it.

Q: Do I get cash for referring someone to Zepto?

No. The referrer is paid in Z-Coins, which are spent inside Zepto. Only the new user receives a gift, and that is on their first qualifying order.

Q: Do Zepto Z-Coins expire?

Yes. Referrer Z-Coins expire two months after they are credited, so they need spending rather than saving.

Q: How many people can I refer on Zepto?

Only your first 10 successful referrals are rewarded. Referrals after that earn nothing.

Q: How long does my friend have to claim their gift?

15 days. The gift attaches to their first qualifying order and has to be claimed within that window.

Q: When is the referrer paid?

Within 24 hours of the referred order being delivered — not when it is placed. An order that is cancelled before delivery pays nothing.

How to Use a Zepto Referral Code

Check you are eligible

Open your Zepto profile page. If no referral box appears, your account is not in the current campaign and no code will work.

Apply the link at signup

New users enter the referral before their first order — it cannot be added afterwards.

Place a qualifying order

The gift unlocks only once that first order is delivered, not when it is placed.

Claim within 15 days

The referee gift expires after 15 days. The referrer's Z-Coins land within about 24 hours and last two months.

Reward Details

Your Reward: Gift on your first qualifying order, claimable within 15 days
Referrer Reward: Z-Coins per successful referral (not cash)
Minimum Purchase: Qualifying order must be placed and delivered
Validity: Referrer Z-Coins expire 2 months after credit
Available In: India
Referral Limit: First 10 successful referrals only
Payout Time: Within 24 hours of the referred order being delivered
Eligibility: New users; referral entry point is shown selectively by Zepto

Why Choose Zepto?

Z-Coins, not cash

Referrers are paid in Z-Coins usable inside Zepto — they cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged.

Capped at 10 referrals

Rewards stop after your first 10 successful referrals, unlike programs that advertise unlimited earning.

Reversible

If the referred order is cancelled or returned, the Z-Coins are taken back.

About Zepto

Zepto delivers groceries and daily essentials in minutes across Indian metros. Its refer-a-friend program is two-sided but asymmetric: the new user receives a gift after their first qualifying order is delivered, while the referrer earns Z-Coins rather than cash.

Zepto's referral program pays the two sides differently, which is where most confusion comes from. The person you refer gets a gift they can claim within 15 days, but only after they place a qualifying order that is actually delivered. You, as the referrer, receive Z-Coins — not cash, and not a discount code — credited within about 24 hours of that delivery.

Two limits matter. Z-Coins are only paid on your first 10 successful referrals, and the coins expire two months after they are credited. If the order your friend placed is cancelled or returned, the corresponding Z-Coins are reversed.

The most common complaint is that the referral field simply is not there. Zepto shows the referral entry point selectively — many users report no 'Have a referral code?' box on signup and no way to generate a link from an older account. If you cannot see it on your profile page, you are not eligible for that campaign, and no code from any website will change that.

Rewards cannot be gifted, transferred, combined with other promotional offers, or exchanged for cash. Zepto decides at its own discretion what counts as a successful referral. Check the current terms in the app before relying on any figure.
