This Refund Policy applies to gift card purchases made on GiveRefer. GiveRefer is operated by Go Veg Go Green Club Pvt Ltd. Payments are processed by Razorpay; gift card vouchers are issued through our integration partner, Hubble.
1. General Policy
Gift cards are digital goods and are delivered instantly upon successful issuance. Once a voucher has been successfully issued and delivered (visible in your History tab and emailed to your registered address), the purchase is final, non-cancellable, and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or as specifically described below.
2. Automatic Refunds (Failed Issuance)
If your payment is captured by Razorpay but the gift card voucher cannot be issued by our partner for any reason — for example, due to a temporary outage, an inventory issue at the brand, or a technical error — GiveRefer will automatically initiate a full refund of the cash component of your order through Razorpay.
The refund is initiated immediately when the failure is detected. No action is required from you.
Refunds typically reflect in your original payment method within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Any GiveRefer Coins applied to a failed order are automatically restored to your account.
You will see the order in your History tab marked as refund_pending, then refunded once Razorpay confirms the refund.
3. Cancelled or Failed Payments
If you close the payment window, cancel the Razorpay checkout, or your payment fails (e.g. insufficient funds, declined card), no money is captured and no refund is necessary. You may retry the purchase from the rewards page.
4. Brand-Side Issues
If a voucher was successfully delivered to you but you experience an issue at the brand's checkout (for example, the brand refuses to accept the voucher or the voucher fails at their end), the resolution is between you and the brand. The voucher contract is fulfilled at the moment of issuance.
GiveRefer support can help relay information between you and the brand or our issuance partner, but we cannot guarantee a refund in these cases.
5. Disputed Charges
If you believe a charge on your card or account is unauthorised or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of the charge so we can investigate alongside Razorpay. Please do not initiate a chargeback with your bank before contacting us — direct disputes are resolved faster.
6. GiveRefer Coins
GiveRefer Coins are an in-app loyalty currency and have no cash value. Coins cannot be converted into cash, transferred, or refunded under any circumstances, including the closure of your account.

Please include your registered email, the order ID from your History tab, and a short description of the issue.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Refund eligibility for any individual order is governed by the policy in effect at the time of the purchase.
