How to Use a BharatNXT Referral Code
Find the fee for your payment type
BharatNXT's own pages quote around 0.85% on vendor payments, 1.5-2.5% on utilities, and about 2% plus GST elsewhere. The rate decides everything.
Check your card actually earns on this category
Rent, utility and wallet-load spends are commonly excluded from Indian card reward programmes. If it earns nothing, the fee is a pure cost.
Price the float, not the rewards
45 to 50 days of interest-free credit for roughly 0.85% is about 7% annualised. Compare that against an overdraft or a supplier's early-payment discount.
Check the platform's current RBI authorisation
This category was halted by the RBI in February 2024. The list of authorised payment aggregators is published; the check takes minutes.
Reward Details
- Your Reward
- ₹250 cashback on a first transaction of ₹5,000 or more. Some material instead describes the reward as Amazon vouchers — confirm which is current in the app.
- Referrer Reward

- Minimum Purchase
- The referred person must complete a transaction of ₹5,000 or more. Note the platform charges a convenience fee on that transaction.
- Validity
- Read alongside the regulatory position: the RBI halted card-based B2B payments through intermediaries in February 2024, and issued new Payment Aggregator Directions in 2025. Check current authorisation before routing business payments.

Why Choose BharatNXT?
At 0.85%, a ₹1,00,000 vendor payment costs ₹850 before GST. The reward does not fund the fee — you do.
Roughly 7% annualised for 45 days at 0.85%. That is a number you can compare against real credit.
Card-based B2B payments through intermediaries were held in abeyance for breaching the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007, over fund pooling and recipient KYC.
Material for this programme describes both an Amazon-voucher reward and a ₹250 cashback reward — check which is current in the app before referring anyone.
About BharatNXT
The reward is ₹250 cashback, but the number means little until you net it against what the platform charges to move the money.
What the product does. BharatNXT lets an Indian business pay by credit card someone who does not accept cards — a vendor, a landlord, a utility, a GST liability. The platform takes the card payment and remits the money onward by bank transfer. In exchange the business gets what a credit card gives it: a stretch of interest-free time, which BharatNXT markets as 45 to 50 days.
The referral. Your referred contact downloads the app through your link and completes a transaction of ₹5,000 or more; you earn ₹250 cashback, and their record shows ₹250 back on that first transaction too. Some material for this programme instead describes the reward as Amazon vouchers rather than cashback — the two are not the same offer, so confirm the current reward in the app before relying on either description.
Now the netting, which is the most useful way to read this offer.
The service is not free. BharatNXT's own marketing quotes different figures in different places: around 1.5%-2.5% convenience fee on utility bill payments, "just 0.85%" on business and vendor payments, and about 2% plus GST as a processing fee elsewhere. Take the friendliest of those. On a ₹1,00,000 vendor payment, 0.85% is ₹850 before GST.
So: what does your card give back? If your card pays 1% in rewards, you are roughly level. If it pays less — and most Indian cards pay well under 1% on large or utility-coded spends, where reward exclusions are common — you are paying to move your own money. The reward programme does not fund the fee. You do.
The real product is not rewards. It is float. You are buying 45 to 50 days of interest-free credit, and the fee is its price. Price it as credit and it becomes assessable: ₹850 for 45 days on ₹1,00,000 is roughly 7% a year on an annualised basis — a real number you can compare against an overdraft, a working-capital line, or a supplier's own early-payment discount. Sometimes it wins. Often it does not. And if you were going to pay the invoice from the bank account on the day anyway, the fee buys you nothing at all.
Now the part that is not arithmetic, and matters more.
In February 2024 the Reserve Bank of India stopped this entire category. The RBI stated that card-based business-to-business payments routed through payment intermediaries had been halted for violating the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007. Visa received the direction on 8 February 2024, requiring it to hold all Business Payment Solution Provider (BPSP) transactions in abeyance — BPSP being precisely this model: an intermediary accepts a card payment from a business and remits the funds by NEFT, RTGS or IMPS to a recipient who does not accept cards.
The regulator's stated concerns were structural, not cosmetic: large sums pooling in an intermediary's account, and inadequate information about who the money was ultimately going to — that is, KYC on the recipient. Visa and Mastercard executives met RBI officials on 14 February 2024 to make representations.
BharatNXT is not shown here to be operating unlawfully. The company markets the service today and states that it complies with RBI guidelines, and the RBI has since issued the Regulation of Payment Aggregators Directions, 2025, which reworked authorisation across this space. The mechanism this product depends on has been the subject of a regulatory stop order within recent memory, and before routing business payments through any intermediary it is worth checking what authorisation it currently holds — the RBI publishes the list of authorised payment aggregators. That check takes minutes and it is the one that matters, far more than ₹250.
What to actually check, in order: whether your card issuer awards points on this merchant category at all (many exclude rent, utility and wallet-load spends); the exact fee rate for your payment type, since published figures vary; whether the fee is charged on top of the amount or deducted from it; and what the annualised cost of the float is against the cheapest credit you can otherwise get.
