Angel One Refer and Earn: Why Your Amount Is Different

Angel One's referral rate is personalised, so your app may show ₹500 where someone else sees ₹750. Here's how the tiers work and what the monthly cap really means.

Angel One Refer and Earn: Why Your Amount Is Different

If you have looked up the Angel One refer and earn amount, you have probably seen four different numbers. That is not because the articles are careless. It is because Angel One does not pay everyone the same rate.

How much Angel One actually pays per referral

The reward is personalised. Two people referring the same friend on the same day can be paid different amounts, and the same account can be paid different amounts in different months.

Rates we have seen on live accounts:

  • ₹500 per referral
  • ₹750 per referral
  • ₹1,250 per referral

On one account, the Refer & Earn screen showed ₹500 per referral in June 2026 — while that same account's reward history showed ₹750 paid three times in May 2026. The rate moved between months without any announcement.

Treat these as examples, not a rate card. The only number that applies to you is the one in your own app.

Where to check your own rate

Open the Angel One app and go to the Refer & Earn section. The banner at the top states your current per-referral amount and your monthly ceiling. That figure is authoritative for your account and overrides anything you read online, including this page.

The cap is five referrals a month — not a rupee limit

This is the detail that explains most of the confusion. Angel One caps the number of rewarded referrals, not the rupee total:

Rewards are available only for the first 5 successful referrals each month.

So your monthly maximum is five times your personal rate:

Your per-referral rateMaximum per month
₹500₹2,500
₹750₹3,750
₹1,250₹6,250

This is why you will find articles confidently stating a ₹2,500 monthly cap and others stating ₹6,000. Both are describing a real user — just not the same one. Referrals beyond the fifth in a month still register, but they do not earn a reward.

Can you withdraw Angel One referral money as cash?

No. This is the most common misunderstanding about the programme, and it is worth being direct about.

Angel One referral rewards are paid as gift vouchers issued through Woohoo, a digital gift-card platform. They are not credited to your trading account as withdrawable funds, and there is no "withdraw referral earnings" button in the app.

What you get instead is a voucher code that you redeem on Angel One's Woohoo portal, exchanging it for a gift card from a catalogue of retail brands — Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, BookMyShow and others.

To redeem:

  1. Open the voucher notification or email from Angel One, which carries your code.
  2. Go to the Angel One redemption portal at [[VERIFY: exact redemption URL — copy it from the voucher email or the app. Do not publish a guessed domain.]]
  3. Enter the mobile number registered with your Angel One account, plus the voucher code.
  4. Choose the brand gift card you want and complete the redemption.

Use the link from your own voucher email rather than one you find in a search result. Voucher redemption portals are a common target for lookalike phishing sites.

When the reward arrives

A referral counts as successful once your friend opens a Demat account using your referral code and completes the required verification. The reward is issued after that, not at signup. If a referral is showing as pending, the usual cause is that the account opening or KYC step has not finished on their side.

Why your amount is different from the one you read about

To summarise, three things vary that most articles treat as fixed:

  • The rate differs between users. ₹500, ₹750 and ₹1,250 are all real.
  • The rate changes over time for the same account.
  • The monthly ceiling is derived — five referrals times whatever your rate happens to be.

Any article quoting one flat figure is describing one account on one day. Check your own app before you plan around a number.

Last verified: [[VERIFY: set to the date you confirm this in-app before publishing]]. Referral terms change without notice — if your app shows something different, your app is right.
