The word doing the work in both of those figures is "up to", and understanding why is the whole point of this page.

The reward is proportional, not flat. It is calculated from how much gold your referred friend actually buys into Gullak Gold+ — not from them installing the app, not from them signing up, and not from them starting a ₹50-a-day savings plan. A friend who joins, saves small amounts and never puts money into Gold+ earns you a fraction of the headline or nothing at all. The ₹2,000 ceiling corresponds to a substantial gold purchase. That is why every listing site quoting "₹2,000 per referral" or "free gold worth ₹10,000" is misleading in the same way: they are publishing the top of a scale as if it were the payment.
