Octopus Electroverse requires both the referrer and the friend to have an active payment method linked and to have completed at least one charge -- the reward isn't triggered by the friend alone.
Octopus Electroverse is a multi-network EV charging app and card from Octopus Energy. Open the app, go to your profile screen, and tap "Refer a friend" to share your unique link or QR code.
Your friend signs up using your link. Then both of you need an active payment method linked to your accounts, and each must complete at least one charge using the Electroverse card or app. Once both conditions are met, £5 is added to each of your Electroverse accounts within 24 hours. There is no limit on referrals -- the more friends you sign up, the more credit you earn. Credit can only be used for charging on the Electroverse network and cannot be refunded to a bank account or other Octopus Energy account.
