Genie Says

We have not verified which registered entity operates MoneyIsle and deliberately do not name one, the same discipline applied on our BeautyExpert and The Mom's Co pages. Instead: verify any Indian broker in three steps — find the SEBI registration number and check it against SEBI's public register, check NSE and BSE member lists to learn the legal entity behind the brand, and read the mandatory complaints disclosure, the most useful and least read document in Indian broking. Your account is with that entity, and a ₹250 bonus is roughly one small trade against unbounded consequences. The ₹250 flat structure is better than a share of trading fees, but the NSE prohibition on sharing brokerage income has been in abeyance since 24 January 2025 — paused, not approved.

How to Use a MoneyIsle Referral Code

Find and check the SEBI registration number

Every registered intermediary has one and must display it. The number on a website is a claim; the entry on SEBI's register is the verification.

Check exchange membership

NSE and BSE publish member lists. This is also how you learn the legal entity behind a consumer brand — and your account is with that entity.

Read the complaints disclosure

The most useful and least read document in Indian broking. Compare volumes received and resolved against the broker's size.

Compare costs, not bonuses

Brokerage per order, annual maintenance, and the statutory charges outside brokerage that often exceed it on small trades.

Why Choose MoneyIsle?

We do not name an operator we could not verify

The same discipline applied on our BeautyExpert and The Mom's Co pages. Where we do not know, we say so.

The legal entity is usually not the brand name

That difference is normal, and finding it is how you learn who actually holds your account.

A flat ₹250 is the better referral structure

No stake in what the referred person trades afterwards — unlike a permanent share of their trading fees.

The referral rule is paused, not approved

NSE's August 2024 prohibition has been in abeyance since 24 January 2025, with the permanent rule still unwritten.

About MoneyIsle

We have not been able to verify which registered entity operates this platform, so we do not name one. Instead, here is how to find out yourself.

A deliberate omission, stated plainly: we have not been able to verify which registered entity operates MoneyIsle, so this page does not name one.

That is a rule this project applies consistently — our BeautyExpert page declines to assert an owner, and our The Mom's Co page declines to assert a parent company, in both cases because drafting assumed something that verification did not support. Where we do not know, we say so, and we tell the reader how to find out. In broking that instruction is worth considerably more than the ₹250 on offer, because it applies to every broker you will ever consider.

How to verify an Indian broker, in the order that actually works:

1. Find the SEBI registration number, and check it on SEBI's own register. Every registered intermediary has one, and every broker is required to display it. The number on the website is a claim; the entry on SEBI's public list of registered intermediaries is the verification. They should match, including the legal entity name — which is frequently different from the brand name you know, and that difference is normal rather than suspicious.

2. Check exchange membership. NSE and BSE publish their member lists. A broker executing trades on those exchanges appears there under its registered name. This is also how you learn the legal entity behind a consumer brand, which matters because your account relationship is with that entity, not with the app.

3. Read the mandatory disclosures. Indian brokers must publish specified information — registration details, grievance-redressal contacts, the investor charter, and complaint data. The complaints disclosure is the most useful and least read document in Indian broking. It shows volumes received and resolved, and comparing it against a broker's size tells you more than any review site.

Why this matters more than the reward. Your relationship with a broker is where your securities and money sit. A ₹250 bonus is roughly the value of a single small trade; the consequences of the entity behind it are unbounded. Anyone choosing on the strength of a referral figure has the ratio backwards.

On the referral itself, and the regulatory position that governs it.

A ₹250 flat credit per referral is, structurally, the better kind of offer — a fixed sum for an introduction rather than a share of what the referred person subsequently trades. Our KuCoin, Bybit, Bitget and Gate.io pages describe the alternative, where a referrer receives a permanent percentage of a friend's trading fees and is therefore paid more the more that friend trades. A flat fee leaves you with no stake in their subsequent activity, which is what allows you to give honest advice — the same reasoning our PipeFlare page sets out.

But the legal position is unsettled and anyone relying on this should know it. On 14 August 2024 the NSE issued circular INSP/63425 disallowing the sharing of brokerage income for referrals, with the stated purpose of preventing trade inducement; referrers were to be appointed Authorised Persons with specific prior exchange approval. Several brokers discontinued their programmes — Zerodha and Kotak Securities published discontinuation notices, and Dhan discontinued on 7 September 2024, paying accrued earnings by 15 September. Then on 24 January 2025, NSE circular NSE/INSP/66284 placed the August circular in abeyance, pending a proposal from the Brokers' Industry Standards Forum, and a SEBI consultation paper on broker referral programmes remains in development.

The permanent rule has not been written. Programmes operating now sit in that gap, which means a live referral offer indicates a paused prohibition rather than an approved practice. Treat any income from one as provisional.

What to compare between Indian brokers, none of which is the referral: brokerage per executed order and whether it applies per order or per leg; the annual maintenance charge and whether it is waived only for a first year; charges that sit outside brokerage — STT, stamp duty, exchange transaction charges, SEBI turnover fees, GST and depository charges, which together frequently exceed the brokerage itself on small trades; and the complaints disclosure. Those determine what trading actually costs you. The ₹250 does not.
