GoKiwi Referral Code

Kiwi pays ₹1,500 or ₹500 per referral depending on when you joined, gives friends a ₹100 joining bonus rather than ₹1,000, and caps monthly cashback at 1% of your credit limit

Kiwi links a RuPay credit card to UPI, letting you scan and pay from a credit line. Cards are issued through partner banks including Yes Bank, PNB and AU.

Genie Says

Kiwi's referral reward depends on when you joined rather than on what your friend does — ₹1,500 per referral if you signed up before 9 January 2026 and ₹500 if after, which is three times the pay for identical work. The friend receives a ₹100 joining bonus, not the ₹1,000 this page previously claimed, and the old record separately denied any bonus existed. Scan & Pay cashback is 1.5% rather than 2%, the "up to 5%" was an April 2024 weekend promotion presented ever since as permanent, and monthly rewards are capped at 1% of your credit limit — so you stop earning once Scan & Pay spend reaches about two-thirds of that limit. One Kiwi is exactly ₹0.25. Tax payments and several other merchant categories earn nothing at all.

How to Use a GoKiwi Referral Code

Check your own sign-up date first

Joined before 9 Jan 2026 pays ₹1,500 per referral; on or after pays ₹500. Three times the pay for identical work, decided by a date you cannot change.

Know the card must actually be issued

Sign-up, PAN verification, form submission and video KYC all count for nothing. On the campaign the friend has 7 days to complete carding.

Work out your real cashback ceiling

Monthly Kiwis are capped at 1% of your credit limit, so at 1.5% you stop earning once Scan & Pay spend reaches about two-thirds of that limit.

Clear the bill in full every month

Indian card interest is roughly 3–4% a month. One revolved month wipes out more than a year of 1.5% cashback.

Why Choose GoKiwi?

Your reward depends on when you joined

₹1,500 before 9 Jan 2026, ₹500 after. Every other conditional reward here turns on what the referred person does; this one grades the referrer.

The friend's bonus is ₹100, not ₹1,000

A tenfold overstatement — and the old page's own FAQ separately claimed there was no bonus at all. Both halves were wrong.

Cashback is capped at 1% of your credit limit

Never previously mentioned, and it binds long before the percentage does. Above roughly two-thirds of your limit in Scan & Pay, you earn nothing.

One Kiwi is exactly ₹0.25

₹100 at 0.5% earns 2 Kiwis, so four Kiwis make a rupee. Almost no points currency in this catalogue can be priced this precisely.

About GoKiwi

Every headline figure this page used to carry was wrong. All six are corrected below against Kiwi's own published policy.

This page previously carried six figures and every one of them was wrong. They are corrected here against Kiwi's own rewards policy and campaign terms, not against any third-party listing.

First, the one that matters most: what you earn per referral depends on when you joined Kiwi — not on what the referral does.

- Joined before 9 January 2026 → ₹1,500 per referral
- Joined on or after 9 January 2026 → ₹500 per referral

That is three times the pay for identical work, decided by a date you cannot change. Every other conditional reward in this catalogue turns on something the referred person does — spends, stays, verifies. This one grades the referrer. So check your own sign-up date before you build any expectation at all: a figure quoted by a friend who joined earlier is simply not available to you.

Second: the friend's bonus is ₹100, not ₹1,000. Our old page claimed a "₹1,000 joining bonus" and a "₹1,000 bonus on your first transaction". The published figure is a ₹100 joining bonus for the referred user — a tenfold overstatement.

And the old record managed to be wrong in both directions at once, which is worth noting because it shows how these defects form: its own FAQ said "there is no signup bonus in the GoKiwi program". So the page simultaneously promised ₹1,000 and denied any bonus existed. Neither half was right, and nothing in the record forced the two halves to agree.

Third, the cashback. The published rates for a card issued since 4 July 2024, for users not subscribed to the separate paid Kiwi Neon membership:

- Scan & Pay — 1.5% (our page said 2%)
- Online transactions — 0.5%
- Cards issued before 4 July 2024 earn 1% on Scan & Pay instead.

The "up to 5% on annual spending" was never a standing benefit. In Kiwi's own rewards history, 5% appears as "5% cashback on Scan & pay on weekends" under April 2024 offers. It was a month-long weekend promotion, and our page had been presenting it as a permanent feature ever since.

Fourth, and the omission that changes the arithmetic more than any of the rates: there is a cap. "Max monthly cap on Kiwis is 1% of the total credit limit on the card." Our page never mentioned it.

Work that through and it gives a clean rule that holds whatever your limit is. If the cap is 1% of your limit and Scan & Pay earns 1.5%, you reach the cap once your monthly Scan & Pay spending hits about two-thirds of your credit limit. Every rupee spent above that point earns nothing. On a ₹60,000 limit that is roughly ₹40,000 of scan-and-pay a month, and the ₹600 monthly ceiling is the real number — not the percentage.

Fifth — and this is good news for once — "Kiwis" can be priced exactly, which almost no points currency in this catalogue can. The policy's own table gives ₹100 spent at 0.5% earning 2 Kiwis. 0.5% of ₹100 is ₹0.50, so 1 Kiwi = ₹0.25, or four Kiwis to the rupee. The table confirms it twice more: ₹200 online gives 4 Kiwis, and ₹100 on Scan & Pay at 1.5% gives 6 Kiwis. So a "200 Kiwis" offer is ₹50, and you never have to guess.

Sixth, the exclusions our page omitted. Whole merchant categories earn no rewards at all, including government services — tax payments, court costs, postal services and fines — plus agricultural and horticultural services, veterinary care, auto rentals and repairs, jewellery and watch repair, and direct marketing. Tax payments being excluded matters most, because large tax bills are exactly what people put on a rewards card to farm cashback.

On the current campaign, which is a different offer again and worth reading closely: Kiwi has been running a "₹2,000 for every 2 successful referrals" promotion. That is not ₹1,000 per friend — the terms state the reward applies "only when 2 or more users complete the carding process", with worked examples at 2, 4 and 6 carded users. So referring an odd number pays for the even part and nothing for the remainder — three successful referrals earn the same as two.

Its other conditions are tight and easy to miss: it applies only to cards issued on Yes Bank, though Kiwi also offers PNB and AU cards; the friend must complete the full carding process within 7 days of signing up; sign-up, PAN verification, form submission and video KYC all count for nothing unless the card is actually issued; the campaign runs in 30-day windows Kiwi may "extend, pause, or end at any time"; and rewards land as Kiwis in the Kiwi wallet, which you may then choose to redeem to a bank account.

The honest summary of the product: the UPI-on-credit mechanic is genuinely useful — it puts a credit line behind everyday QR payments that would otherwise come from your bank balance. But it is a credit card, and the only number that matters on a credit card is what happens if you do not clear the bill. Indian card interest typically runs around 3–4% per month, which is roughly 40%+ a year. At 1.5% cashback against that, one month of revolved balance wipes out more than a year of rewards. Pay in full, every month, or the cashback is a rounding error on the interest.
