Our old page advertised this as a ₹20,000-a-month earning opportunity. That number was the wage of jobs listed on it. The correction matters most to the people it was aimed at.

Our old page said "earn up to ₹20,000/month" and promised a ₹2,000 signup bonus. The ₹20,000 is real, but it is not a reward — it is roughly the salary of the jobs advertised on the platform, which lists roles paying around ₹20,000 to ₹60,000.

So a wage figure was turned into an earnings promise. That is the whole defect, and it is worth being precise about why it differs from other corrections made elsewhere in this catalogue, where a number in a listing turned out to belong to a different company with a similar name. This one is not that. The number is real and it belongs to this company — it is simply attached to the wrong thing: what an employer pays, presented as what the app pays you. No check for mixed-up brands could have caught it, because neither the brand nor the figure is wrong. Only the category is.

The arithmetic settles it without needing any inside knowledge. The most-repeated third-party figure for this app's referral is about ₹200 per person. At ₹200 each, earning ₹20,000 in a month requires 100 successful referrals — and then 100 more the next month, and every month after, because the claim was "per month". The blog claim of "₹500–₹700 a day" is the same number in smaller clothes: between two and a half and three and a half new people joining through you, every single day, forever. That is not a referral programme; it is a full-time recruitment job, and an unpaid one until it works.

On the ₹200 itself: it is not asserted here. It comes from referral-aggregator blogs, and such sites cannot corroborate a referral figure — they are participants in the offer, not observers, and several of the pages carrying this number are themselves titled with somebody's personal referral code. The honest statement is that no first-party source for any referral amount was found. Check the app.

The ₹2,000 "signup bonus" has no first-party source either, and this page no longer claims it. One possible origin is worth recording without asserting it: an unrelated Indian government civic platform of a similar name runs monthly rewards of ₹2,000 for top participants. That is a hypothesis about how an error travelled, not a fact about this app — and the distinction is exactly the one the old page failed to make.

What SAATHI actually is, which is useful and worth describing properly: a jobs and skilling app aimed at blue-collar workers. It offers job-specific courses — delivery executive, sales, back office and similar — with certificates on completion, and lets candidates apply using short video profiles rather than a written CV.

That video mechanic is a genuinely sensible idea for this market: it lets somebody demonstrate communication and attitude directly, which a paper CV cannot do and which matters more than paper for customer-facing work. It also suits applicants who are more confident speaking than writing, which is a real barrier in blue-collar hiring.

Why this correction matters more than most: because of who was reading it. Many overstated headlines on referral listings are aimed at somebody looking for a discount. This one was aimed at somebody looking for work — and it told them a jobs app would pay them ₹20,000 a month for sharing a link. A person searching for a job is the least able to absorb a wasted week and the most likely to act on the promise.

What to actually do with this app, which is worth more than any referral:
- Treat it as a job-search and training tool, which is what it is. The courses and certificates are the real value; the referral is incidental and unquantified.
- Check the referral terms inside the app, and treat every figure you read on any third-party page — this one included — as unverified until the app itself shows it.
- And the rule that matters most in this whole category: a legitimate employer or job platform never asks a candidate for money. No registration fee, no security deposit, no training charge, no payment to "unlock" a job or release a bonus. If any app or recruiter asks a job-seeker to pay, that is the point to stop — and it is the single most useful sentence on this page.
