Truemeds pays well for a pharmacy referral, and the deadline attached to it is measured from a moment most people would not think to track.

Truemeds credits ₹200 in TM Rewards when someone you referred places their first order — with two conditions that decide whether it happens.

The first is a minimum. That first order must be ₹500 or more. Below that it does not qualify, and on a pharmacy where a single generic prescription can come to well under ₹500, this is a live constraint rather than a formality.

The second is the interesting one. The order must be shipped and delivered within 30 days of the referral link being clicked. Read that carefully: the clock starts when your friend clicks the link, not when they order, and it stops when the medicine is in their hands, not when they check out. On an online pharmacy that gap is not trivial. Prescriptions need uploading and verifying, Truemeds proposes generic substitutions that the customer has to accept, and delivery follows all of that. Someone who clicks your link, thinks about it for three weeks, then orders, will very likely miss the window even though they ordered inside the month.

The practical advice is the same as with PhonePe: share the link when your friend is ready to order, not as something for them to look at later.

The reward is TM Rewards, where one reward equals ₹1 and the balance is applied automatically against future medicine purchases on Truemeds. It is not cash and cannot be withdrawn, so its value depends on whether you buy medicine regularly — which, for a repeat-prescription customer, is a fairly safe assumption. Total earnings from the program are capped at 5,000 TM Rewards.

Worth knowing about the product itself, because it affects whether a referral is a good thing to make: Truemeds works by identifying CDSCO-approved generic substitutes with the same salt composition as a branded prescription, at substantially lower cost. That is a legitimate and often significant saving. It also means your friend will be offered an alternative to what their doctor wrote, which some people are comfortable with and some are not. Mention that when you refer someone rather than letting them discover it at checkout.
