Swagbucks pays SB — its own points currency — for surveys, shopping through its links, watching videos and completing offers. It was founded in 2008 and is operated by Prodege LLC of El Segundo, California.

It also has a practical consequence worth stating. If your objective is genuinely more distinct survey inventory, the useful diversification is across different research panels — Ipsos i-Say, run by one of the world's largest market research firms, is on this site and is not a Prodege property. Adding a second Prodege brand mostly adds a second login.

On the platform itself, the honest assessment: Swagbucks is long-established, pays what it says, and offers many earning routes, of which the shopping cashback is generally worth more per minute than the surveys. Nobody earns a meaningful income from it. Used as a way to capture value on purchases you were making anyway, it is reasonable. Used as work, the hourly rate — once screen-outs are included — is poor.
