1StopLighting Referral Code
1StopLighting's referral terms cannot be verified from the retailer — and our own page contradicted itself about them
1StopLighting is a US online lighting retailer operated by Belami, Inc. of Sacramento, California. Its referral terms are quoted differently by every source we could find, including two different figures on our own old page.
Genie Says
1StopLighting is a genuine US lighting retailer, launched in 2001 and operated by Belami, Inc. of Sacramento, California, alongside Patio Products USA and Bailey Street Home. Its referral terms could not be verified: our own page gave two contradictory figures ($10 to the new customer with $25 to the referrer, then $25 to the new customer), coupon sites claim 40% off both sides uncapped, and the retailer's site returns HTTP 403 so its terms could not be read. Our old copy also carried fintech boilerplate about "bank-grade security" on a lighting shop. Separately: the lighting retailer that collapsed in May 2024 was Bellacor, a different company, whose brand Capitol Lighting acquired that August.

How to Use a 1StopLighting Referral Code
Ask the retailer for the current terms
Three published versions of this offer disagree, and the site could not be read for this page. Belami, Inc. is the only authority on it.
Ask whether the reward is cash or credit
On a shop you may use once every few years, $25 of store credit can be worth nothing at all.
Ask whether the code stacks with a public sale
If it does not, and the sale is better, your link costs your friend money.
Convert the reward into a percentage
$25 on a $300 fixture is about 8%. That is the number to compare against any coupon you already have.
Reward Details
- Your Reward
- ⚠️ Disputed. Our old page said $10 off a first order in one place and $25 in another. Coupon sites say 40% off. None of these comes from the retailer.
- Referrer Reward
- ⚠️ Disputed. Commonly quoted as $25 per friend who makes a qualifying purchase, but whether it is cash or store credit is not stated anywhere we could verify.
- Minimum Purchase
- ⚠️ Unknown. "Qualifying purchase" appears in every version of the offer without a figure attached to it.
- Validity
- ⚠️ Unknown. The retailer's own pages return HTTP 403 to automated requests, so its terms could not be read for this page.
- Available In
- USA
- Referral Limit
- ⚠️ Coupon sites claim no limit. The retailer does not say. Treat "unlimited" as an aggregator's claim, not a term.
- Payout Time
- ⚠️ Unknown. Our page previously labelled the rewards "instant", which was template text rather than a verified term.
- Eligibility
- 1StopLighting is a US retailer operated by Belami, Inc. of Sacramento, California, and also publishes a separate Canadian order policy. Confirm delivery and eligibility before assuming a code applies to you.
Why Choose 1StopLighting?
$10/$25, $25 to the signer-up, and 40% off both sides. None of them traceable to the retailer.
It put $25 on the referrer's side in one line and on the new customer's in another. A page that argues with itself is not a source.
Fintech boilerplate dropped onto a lighting retailer. Template text like this is a reliable sign nobody checked the page.
Bellacor abruptly halted operations in May 2024 and Capitol Lighting bought the brand that August. 1StopLighting and Belami, Inc. are unconnected to that.
About 1StopLighting
This page is shorter on promises than it used to be, because the promises could not be checked. Here is what is established, what is disputed, and how to price a referral when the retailer says nothing.
Start with what is solid, because it is a short list.
1StopLighting is a real, long-running US retailer. It is operated by Belami, Inc. — which also trades as Belami e-Commerce — from 3321 Power Inn Road, Sacramento, California. The store launched in 2001 and has grown into a family of sites that includes Patio Products USA and Bailey Street Home. Business directories put the company's annual sales in the region of $23.8 million, which is a directory estimate rather than a filed figure and should be read as one. None of that is in doubt.
⚠️ The referral terms are another matter, and we are going to show you the disagreement rather than pick a winner.
Version one — our own page's description: the person signing up gets $10 off a first order, and the referrer earns $25 for each friend who makes a qualifying purchase.
⚠️ Version two — also our own page, three lines further down: "Sign up with a referral code to unlock $25 in rewards." That contradicts the first version, which put the $25 on the referrer's side and $10 on the new customer's. A page that states two different numbers for the same thing is not a source. It is noise, and this one was ours.
Version three — the coupon aggregators: several state that both sides receive a 40% off discount code, with no limit on referrals. ⚠️ A 40% discount to both parties, uncapped, is a very large offer for a category with hard goods and shipping costs, and no aggregator we found cites the retailer for it.
And we could not resolve it, which is the honest thing to report. ⚠️ 1stoplighting.com returns HTTP 403 to automated requests, so its own terms, FAQ and about pages could not be read for this page. We are not going to launder an unverified figure into a headline just because three coupon sites repeat it — that is the same echo-chamber problem set out on our Books2Door page, where our own listing turned out to be one of the "corroborating" sources.
⚠️ One more thing our old page contained, worth naming because it explains how these errors happen. It described 1StopLighting as somewhere to "manage your money with bank-grade security and instant transactions." That is boilerplate written for a fintech app, dropped unedited onto a lighting retailer. You are not managing money here. You are buying a ceiling fixture. Template text of this kind is a reliable signal that nobody checked the page, and it is worth treating as one wherever you see it.
A name to keep separate, because the confusion is easy and the story is alarming. Bellacor — a different Minneapolis-based online lighting retailer with a similar-sounding name — abruptly halted operations in May 2024, laying off staff, cutting contact with vendors, and leaving open orders unprocessed. Capitol Lighting acquired the Bellacor brand and its digital assets on 20 August 2024. ⚠️ 1StopLighting and Belami, Inc. are not connected to that, and if you have read about a lighting site collapsing, that is the one you read about.
Finally, how to price a referral in this category even without the terms.
Lighting is a large, infrequent purchase. A flat $25 on a fixture that costs $300 is about 8% — so a public coupon in the 10-15% range beats it, and if the two cannot be combined, the referral link costs your friend money. ⚠️ Ask which one it is before you send it. And ask whether the reward is cash or store credit: on a shop most people use once every few years, $25 of credit at a single lighting retailer may never be spent at all, which makes its real value nearer zero than $25. Neither question can be answered from the sources available for this page, so ask the retailer directly before you rely on the answer.
