Shopsy is filed under referral codes almost everywhere, including here until now. It is not that kind of program, and the difference decides whether it is worth your time.

Shopsy is not a refer-a-friend program, and treating it as one is why most pages about it — this one included, previously — cannot answer the question people arrive with.

Shopsy is Flipkart's social commerce platform. Its earning model is reselling: you browse Flipkart's catalogue through Shopsy, share products with your own network over WhatsApp, Instagram or anywhere else, and earn a margin when someone buys through you. There is no fixed bounty for signing a friend up, because signing a friend up is not the thing being rewarded. Selling is.

That distinction changes who this suits. A referral bounty rewards reach — you share a code widely and collect a fixed amount per person. A margin model rewards conversion: you earn only when someone actually buys, and you earn in proportion to what they spend. Someone with a small but genuinely engaged audience who trusts their recommendations will do better here than someone broadcasting a link to a large indifferent group. It is closer to affiliate work than to inviting a friend.

The new-user discounts that get quoted as Shopsy referral rewards — 20% off a first order and similar — are ordinary promotions applied at checkout when they are running. They come and go, they vary by campaign, and no code from a listing site controls them.

Shopsy has been reported shut down more than once and has not been. It remains a live, actively maintained Flipkart product.

If what you want is a fixed reward for introducing a friend to a shopping app, Shopsy is not that and no amount of searching for a Shopsy referral code will make it one. If what you want is to earn from recommending products to people who listen to you, the margin model is the real opportunity here, and it is worth considerably more than any signup bonus would have been.
