Flipkart's referral is not a permanent feature, and that single fact explains most of the confusion around it — including codes that work for one person and not another.

SuperCoins are Flipkart's loyalty currency rather than cash. They are redeemed against discounts, brand vouchers and Flipkart Plus benefits, and the practical constraints are the ones that apply to most loyalty currencies: there is generally a limit on how many can be applied to a single order, and they carry validity periods. So a SuperCoin balance is spent gradually across purchases rather than knocked off one basket, and an unused balance can lapse. Check both rules in the app before treating a number of coins as a rupee value.

Because the programme is campaign-based, the sensible approach is to look before you share. Open Flipkart, find Refer & Earn, and see whether it is offering anything on your account. If the section is absent or shows no active offer, a code shared from a listing site will not produce a reward for either party, and telling a friend otherwise wastes their time as well as yours.

Flipkart also runs SuperCoin earning through ordinary purchases and through Flipkart Plus membership, which are separate from referrals and continue regardless of whether a referral campaign is live. If your interest is accumulating SuperCoins rather than referring specifically, those routes are more reliable.
