JioMart sells groceries, fresh produce and household essentials across India. Its referral is straightforward once you know the two things the offer line leaves out: the minimum basket, and what the referrer actually receives.

JioMart's referral gives a new user 10% off their first purchase, capped at ₹60. The part left off almost every page describing it — including this one until now — is the minimum cart value of ₹400. Below ₹400 the code does nothing at all, and because the discount is a percentage, reaching the ₹60 ceiling requires a basket of ₹600. The realistic range for most first orders is therefore ₹40 to ₹60, not a flat ₹60.

The second correction is about what "earn" means here. When the new user completes their first purchase, the referrer receives another coupon for future use on JioMart. Not cash, not wallet credit, not cashback — a discount voucher. That is a materially weaker reward than the phrase "refer and earn" implies, and it is worth knowing before you spend effort sharing a code. If your friend shops on JioMart and you do too, the arrangement is still worth doing; if you were expecting money, it is not that.

Eligibility is conventional. You need to be a registered JioMart user to refer, and the person you refer must not have registered or transacted on JioMart before. A code cannot be applied to an existing account.

Two restrictions worth checking before you promise anything. Codes apply only to eligible products rather than the whole catalogue, so a basket made up of excluded items can hit ₹400 and still not discount. And JioMart has run versions of this offer tied to its WhatsApp shopping channel rather than the app, which changes where the code has to be applied. Confirm which version your code belongs to before your friend builds a basket around it.
