Pincode Referral Code

Pincode's ₹200 is one of the larger Indian consumer referrals, and the window attached to it is short enough to decide whether you ever see it.

Pincode pays a guaranteed ₹200 per successful referral, which is generous by the standards of Indian consumer apps — most grocery and commerce referrals in this set pay a fraction of it.

Three conditions govern it.

The friend must install the app and place their first order within seven days. Seven days is short, and it is the condition that most often voids this referral. Someone who installs on your recommendation, browses, and orders a fortnight later has done everything you hoped and earned neither of you anything. If you are referring deliberately, the useful moment is when they actually need groceries.

That first order must be ₹199 or more. A small top-up order below the threshold does not qualify, which is worth mentioning since ₹199 is above a typical convenience purchase.

And the programme caps at 25 successful referrals. That is a high enough ceiling not to bind most people, but it is a ceiling — ₹5,000 in total.

Pincode is PhonePe's local commerce app, built on the ONDC network to connect nearby shops rather than operating its own warehouses. That matters practically: availability and delivery speed depend on which local sellers are onboarded in your friend's pin code, so the experience varies far more by location than a warehouse-based service like Blinkit or Zepto. Before referring someone, it is worth knowing whether the app actually works well where they live — a referral to someone in a poorly served area will not convert, and they will not thank you for the recommendation.

Cashback-related queries must be raised within 30 days, so if a referral you believe qualified has not paid, do not leave it indefinitely.

PhonePe reserves the right to amend the terms without prior notice, which in practice means the ₹200 and the caps are campaign figures rather than fixed features. Check what is running before promising anyone a number.
