World Remit Referral Code

WorldRemit moves money from Europe, North America and Australia to recipients worldwide. Its referral program is active, but far more restricted than the listings sites suggest — most people searching for a code do not qualify.

WorldRemit's refer-a-friend program is still running, despite what several listing sites claim. What is true is that it is narrow enough that most people searching for a code will not qualify.

Start with your own eligibility. You cannot get a referral code until you have completed at least one transfer with WorldRemit, and codes are not available in every country. WorldRemit also reserves the right to request KYC documentation from both you and your friend before either of you enters the promotion.

Then the corridor rules. Both you and your referee must be based in the United States, the United Kingdom or Australia for a reward to be paid. If your referee is based in the US, they must send money to Pakistan, the Philippines, Zimbabwe, Nigeria or Nepal — sending to any other destination pays neither of you. The reward value itself varies depending on both where the referee is based and where they are sending.

The reward is a voucher rather than cash. It appears in the discounts section of the WorldRemit app once your friend has sent the minimum qualifying amount, and it carries its own expiry date and minimum-send conditions before you can use it. Minimum send amounts change by location and WorldRemit states it may alter them without advance notice.

The referral must be attached at signup — your friend either uses your link or enters the code in the referral field on the signup form. There is no way to add it afterwards.

WorldRemit can reject or cancel a referral at its discretion where it suspects misuse, including generating an unusual number of vouchers.
