Chase runs three separate reward tiers by card family rather than one flat referral amount, so what you earn depends entirely on which Chase card you're referring for.

Chase's credit card Refer-A-Friend program lets cardholders earn rewards when someone applies for a Chase card through their personalized link. Log in to your Chase account, go to "Explore Products" then "Just for you," and select "Refer friends now" to see your eligible offers.

Your friend must be a new applicant and be approved for the card. Rewards depend on the card family: 15,000 points per referral (up to 100,000 points/year) for the Sapphire Preferred or Sapphire Reserve; $50 cash back per referral (up to $500/year) for Freedom Unlimited or Freedom Flex; and 20,000 points per referral (up to 100,000 points/year) for Chase Business cards.
