CurrencyFair Referral Code
Reward varies by country — and cookies must work
CurrencyFair is a peer-to-peer currency exchange and international transfer service. Referral rewards are assigned by country of residence and differ in both amount and type, from free transfers to reward tokens.
Genie Says
CurrencyFair assigns your referral programme by country of residence, so the reward differs in both amount and kind — free transfers in some regions, a token in others. The code is stored in a browser cookie, so ad blockers can silently break the referral.

How to Use a CurrencyFair Referral Code
Get your link from your profile
Log in and select Refer a Friend. Your unique link appears on that page — the programme is assigned automatically at signup.
Check cookies are not blocked
CurrencyFair stores the code in a browser cookie. Ad blockers and privacy extensions can stop it attaching, silently voiding the referral.
Friend transfers out the minimum
The qualifying amount depends on their location and refers to the amount received, not sent.
Verify, then claim
Both accounts must be fully verified and activated before rewards can be transferred out. Track them via Claim your Rewards on the dashboard.

Why Choose CurrencyFair?
The code lives in a browser cookie. If an extension blocks it, the signup completes normally and the referral simply never attaches.
Some countries get free transfers, others get a reward token. The minimum your friend must transfer also changes by location.
Referral rewards cannot be combined with any other new customer promotion your friend may have already applied.
About CurrencyFair
CurrencyFair lets users exchange currency directly with each other, often beating bank rates substantially. Its referral programme is assigned automatically at signup, and what you get depends entirely on where you live.
CurrencyFair does not run one referral offer. Your programme is designated automatically when you sign up, and your country of residence determines the currency, the reward amount, and the transfer-out minimum your referred friend has to meet before anything is paid.
The reward also differs in kind, not just size. In some regions the reward takes the form of free transfers, which you check on the "my account" page of your profile. In others it is a reward token, which appears in the CurrencyFair web or mobile app. You can see the status of everything by clicking Claim your Rewards on your dashboard. There is no limit on how many friends you can refer.
The most useful thing to know is a technical one. CurrencyFair stores your referral code in a browser cookie, and the company explicitly warns that browser extensions blocking cookies will prevent the code being present when your friend signs up. Ad blockers, privacy extensions and strict tracking-prevention settings can therefore kill a referral silently — the friend signs up perfectly normally, the code never attaches, and neither of you is ever paid. If a CurrencyFair referral has failed for you before, this is the first thing to check.
Two conditions catch people afterwards. Both parties must be fully verified and activated before any reward can be transferred out, so an incomplete verification holds the money rather than losing it. And referral rewards cannot be used alongside any other new customer offer — if your friend has already applied a signup promotion, the referral will not stack on top.
Self-referral is blocked: creating more than one account to invite yourself, inviting people with duplicate accounts, or using the programme commercially all void it. CurrencyFair runs a separate affiliate programme for commercial use.
Check the Refer and Earn section of your profile for the amount and minimum that apply where you live.
