Netmeds Referral Code

Netmeds pays ₹150 in NMS SuperCash. SuperCash is a wallet balance rather than money, and the three questions that decide its value are the same ones that govern every wallet on this site.

Netmeds sells prescription and over-the-counter medicines, personal care products, diagnostic tests and doctor consultations. Its referral pays ₹150 in NMS SuperCash.

SuperCash is a wallet balance, not money. It is the same instrument as Goibibo's GoCash, Zingbus' Zingcash, OYO Rupee and FabHotels' Fab credits, examined elsewhere in this export, and it carries the same three restrictions — none of which appear in a headline:

A partial-redemption cap — only a portion of any order may be paid with the balance. This is the term that determines everything. If SuperCash can cover a tenth of an order, then ₹150 is fully usable only across ₹1,500 of purchases.

An expiry, usually measured in months.

A minimum order value, below which it cannot be applied at all.

Find those three numbers in the app before treating ₹150 as ₹150. It takes a minute and it is the difference between a reward and a coupon you never manage to spend.

Where the real money is in this category, and it dwarfs any wallet balance: repeat medication. Someone managing a chronic condition buys the same medicines every month, indefinitely. Two things matter far more than a one-off ₹150:

Generic equivalents. Where your doctor or pharmacist confirms a generic is appropriate, the saving against a branded formulation is typically a large percentage of the cost, and it recurs every single month. That compounds into a figure a referral bonus never approaches.

Subscription or auto-refill discounts, where a platform offers them for recurring orders. A standing percentage on a monthly bill is worth more over a year than any signup credit — and it also solves the more important problem of not running out.

On the regulatory position, which applies to every online pharmacy in India and is set out more fully on our PharmEasy page: there is no specific regulation for online medicine sales; the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and Rules, 1945 apply by extension under a 2015 DCGI notice; CDSCO issued show-cause notices to 20 online pharmacies in February 2023 over medicines prohibited without a valid prescription, to which platforms responded that they are intermediaries rather than sellers; and on 16 November 2023 the Delhi High Court directed the government to frame a policy within eight weeks, noting the draft rules had been pending over five years.

The practical consequences are the same wherever you buy: read the invoice to see which licensed pharmacy actually supplied the order, check batch and expiry against the packaging on arrival, keep the invoice, and be cautious with cold-chain products such as insulin where a general delivery network may not maintain temperature requirements.

And one point specific to platforms bundling consultations with dispensing: where the same company arranges the consultation and sells the medicine, note that the advice and the sale sit under one roof. That is convenient, and it is also a structure where the incentive to prescribe and the incentive to dispense are not independent. It is worth being aware of rather than alarmed by — but if a consultation on any platform results in a purchase every time, that is a pattern worth noticing.
