YOIGO Referral Code
Yoigo's own mobile network was decommissioned in 2025 and the brand now runs on MasOrange infrastructure, alongside seven other brands owned by the same company
Yoigo is a Spanish mobile brand offering prepaid and contract plans, now operating under MasOrange after its own network was decommissioned in 2025.
Genie Says
Yoigo's own mobile network was decommissioned in 2025 after nearly twenty years, and the brand now runs under MasOrange on that group's consolidated infrastructure — a third variant of the brand-outlives-something pattern this review keeps finding. MasOrange also runs Orange, Jazztel, Simyo, Pepephone, Lebara, Lyca and Llamaya, so comparing several Spanish mobile brands can mean comparing one company, and switching between them may not change the network you are on. Orange completed its buy-out of the remaining 50% for €4.25 billion by June 2026. The "€7.5" referral is a promotional snapshot rather than a standing offer, and Yoigo's own FAQ says the reward varies and is typically a bill discount.

Why Choose YOIGO?
Yoigo's own mobile network was decommissioned in 2025 after nearly twenty years. The name continues on MasOrange infrastructure.
Orange, Yoigo, Jazztel, Simyo, Pepephone, Lebara, Lyca and Llamaya are all MasOrange — so four comparison tabs can be one company.
Yoigo's own FAQ says the reward varies by promotion and is typically a bill discount or a free gift, with a limit that varies too.
Total cost over the term is usually far more than buying the phone outright and taking a SIM-only deal.
About YOIGO
Comparing Spanish mobile brands is harder than it looks, because several of the ones you would compare belong to the same company.
After nearly twenty years, Yoigo's own mobile network was decommissioned in 2025. The brand did not disappear — it continues under MasOrange, running on that group's consolidated infrastructure.
This review has now found three different ways for a brand to outlive something, and Yoigo is the most specific of them: a car-rental brand whose company was liquidated and whose name was bought; a food brand whose operations stopped and whose name was licensed to somebody else; and here, a mobile brand whose company is fine and whose physical network was switched off beneath it.
From the outside, nothing changed: same name, same app, same shop. What changed is the infrastructure calls actually travel over — which for a mobile operator is the entire product.
Now the thing that matters most to anyone shopping for a Spanish mobile plan, and almost nobody knows it: MasOrange runs Orange, Yoigo, Jazztel, Simyo, Pepephone, Lebara, Lyca and Llamaya as one group.
So opening four tabs to compare Yoigo against Simyo against Pepephone against Jazztel means comparing four front doors to one company. The prices and packages genuinely differ — that is the point of a multi-brand strategy, and a better deal can genuinely be found by looking across them — but these are not the independent alternatives the number of logos implies, and switching between group brands because of poor coverage may not change the network being used at all.
That is the third and largest time this review has found separately-listed brands sharing one owner — after two meal-kit services, and a pair of delivery apps.
The group's scale, for context: MasOrange is reported as Spain's leading operator by customer base, with about 26 million mobile and 7.1 million fixed broadband customers at the first quarter of 2026. It began as a 50:50 joint venture between Orange and MásMóvil in 2024, and Orange has since acquired the remaining half for €4.25 billion, completed by June 2026.
On the referral: no fixed figure is confirmed. Yoigo's own FAQ says the reward "varies depending on the current promotion" and is "typically a discount on your monthly bill or a free gift", with a limit that "varies depending on the current promotion" too. The commonly cited €7.5 figure is a snapshot of one promotion at one moment rather than a standing offer, and this page treats it as unconfirmed.
What the record does support: the programme is Spain only; a Yoigo customer must make the referral; self-referrals and referrals to a member of the same household are excluded; and rewards typically arrive as a bill discount rather than cash.
What actually decides a Spanish mobile plan, which is worth more than any referral:
1. Coverage at home and work postcodes specifically — ask neighbours rather than reading national coverage maps, which are modelled rather than measured.
2. Whether the price is promotional and what it reverts to, since Spanish operators discount heavily for six or twelve months and the step-up is rarely prominent.
3. Permanencia — any minimum contract period and the penalty for leaving early, which is the term that traps people, particularly where a handset is bundled.
4. And whether a handset is included in the price. A subsidised phone converts a mobile plan into a credit agreement, and the total cost over the term is usually far more than buying the handset outright and taking a SIM-only deal.
