SportsBuzz11 Referral Code

SportsBuzz11 advertised "up to ₹750" but paid a percentage of what the person you referred earned, and only after they had deposited. Two things are wrong with that offer, and only one of them is the ban.

SportsBuzz11 is a fantasy sports platform for cricket and football, launched in 2019 and positioned in the tier below Dream11. Its referral offer was advertised as up to ₹750. The mechanic behind that headline is worth dismantling even now, because the same structure is used across this whole category and will reappear elsewhere.

You were not paid ₹750 for a referral. You were paid 10% of what the person you referred earned, subject to their having made a first deposit, up to a ceiling of ₹10,000. That is three separate conditions, and each one shifts risk onto you. The first: nothing pays until your friend funds their account. The second: the amount is not yours to influence — it depends on how much they win, so a referral of someone who plays carefully and loses returns you nothing. The third: the headline figure was a ceiling on a percentage, which is why "up to" was doing so much work.

A revenue share on someone else's gambling losses and wins also carries a conflict that ought to be named. Your reward rose with their activity. The more they staked and won, the more you collected. There is no version of that arrangement in which your interest and your friend's are aligned, and this site has flagged the same structure on trading platforms elsewhere.

The offer is now unlawful regardless. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, assented on 22 August 2025, prohibits online money games across India with no distinction between skill and chance, so fantasy sports played for money is inside it. Section 5 prohibits offering such a game, section 6 prohibits advertising one, and section 7 prohibits facilitating the payments; sections 5 and 7 offences are cognizable and non-bailable. Section 9(2) sets the advertising penalty at up to two years' imprisonment or ₹50 lakh, or both. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Rules, 2026, in force since 1 May 2026, created the Online Gaming Authority of India, which can classify a game as an online money game by looking at entry fees, staking, expectation of winnings and revenue model.

The point of keeping this page rather than deleting it is that both facts are useful. The ban explains why no code will work. The mechanic explains why the offer was worth less than it appeared even while it did — and teaches you to check, on any referral scheme anywhere, whether "up to ₹X" is a payment or a cap on a percentage of something you do not control.

Free-to-play fantasy remains lawful under the Act, which expressly promotes e-sports and social games. A balance from the paid era should be pursued through SportsBuzz11's own support, promptly, and never through a third-party recovery service.
